Scientific Games acquire Bally Technologies

Less than a year after completing it’s acquisition of slot-maker WMS, Scientific Games is at it again, this time swallowing up Bally Technologies Inc. for a reported $3.3 billion.

Early opinions from analysts confirm that this will allow Scientific Games to compete with the recently announced merger of GTECH/IGT.

Remaining slot manufacturers are surely busy polishing up their offices in the hope of acquisition, not wanting to be the last kid left in the school yard not picked for the sports teams…
